Surfing Philosophy

Great Ocean Road Surf Tours is passionate about all things surfing; from wave riding to the lifestyle behind surfing to the magnificent coastal environment that allows all this to occur (we are one of the first surf schools in Australia to be certified with advanced ecotourism).

There are a lot of elements to take into consideration when both learning to surf or setting out on a surfing adventure; from knowing what beach to head to, to the conditions, to the equipment. Great Ocean Road Surf Tour’s staff are dedicated surfers who are fully qualified, experienced, know where the surf is at and what you need for the ultimate ride.

The tours have been personally developed based on the needs, wants and capabilities of clientele, from beginner to advanced. They showcase the wide-offering of pristine beaches and epic surfing spots along The Bellarine and Surf Coast; Bancoora, Point Addis, Fairhaven, Guvos and so many more!

Award Success

Gaining State and National recognition for their achievements, Great Ocean Road and Bellarine Surf Tours learn to surf tours have gained a Finalist position in the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards in 2011, taking out top honours in 2012 and finalists in both Adventure Tourism and Ecotourism in 2013.  Qantas Australian Tourism Award Finalists in 2012 and becoming the highest ranking Surf School in Australia.  We have also won the Telstra Business Awards 2013 for micro business category and become finalists in the regional category and won the Geelong Business Excellence Awards 2014 and 2015 and being Finalists for Business of the Year.
